Dr. Karin Davids is an experienced advanced surgeon with extensive expertise in both orthopaedic and soft tissue procedures. After graduating from the University of Sydney in 1993, she began her career in mixed-animal practice before transitioning to small-animal medicine, where she discovered and cultivated a strong passion for surgery. In 2002, Karin attained Membership in the Australia and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Small Animal Surgery.
Committed to continuous professional growth, Karin has pursued advanced training throughout her career, attending surgical conferences and specialised courses around the world. She completed a Graduate Certificate in Emergency and Critical Care in 2020, and in 2023 was awarded a four-week AOVet Orthopaedic Fellowship, providing the opportunity to train alongside leading specialist orthopaedic surgeons.
Karin has a particular interest in TPLO surgery and fracture repair, and offers a comprehensive range of procedures that many general practitioners would typically refer to a specialist. She is dedicated to delivering high-quality surgical care and continually enhancing her skills to better support her patients and their families.
